The Cakery Exeter is a family run business based in Exeter, Devon. Every member of our team has experience working in the cake decorating industry. We’ve taken on the challenge of starting a business during a global pandemic which just goes to show our passion for what we do! We are a very creative team with varying areas of expertise and our own unique decorating styles. We will do everything we can to accommodate your cake needs to ensure your special event has the perfect cake, be it a birthday, wedding, christening, anniversary etc.
MEET THE TEAM
Becky
Becky is one of our talented decorators (and owner), the first cake she ever decorated was her own wedding cake, which if you saw now, would put you off ordering from us! But don’t worry, she’s come a long way since then! She is married to Paul (our very own handyman) and they have two lovely daughters, Anya and Olivia. In her spare time, she loves watching crime documentaries, reading crime novels and various crafts.
Livi
Becky’s youngest daughter Liv, is our other talented decorator, (and owner). She studied art and design at college and then worked for another cake decorating company before being given the opportunity to start The Cakery. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading and looking after her various pets!
Nikki
Nikki, also known to many as Nana Bee, is our amazing front of house, she is always here to help you with your decorating dilemmas! Nikki has over 15 years of retail experience, she started off her retail journey working for fashion company Snob. Snob is where she developed her fantastic window dressing skills, which you can see for yourself when you visit our shop! In her free time, Nikki loves spending time with family and teaching her grandchildren to bake.
